Slipknot anunciam novo álbum, intitulado “We Are Not Your Kind”, e divulgam primeiro single “Unsainted”
Slipknot anunciam detalhes do seu tão aguardado sexto LP, “We Are Not Your Kind”, que será lançado no próximo dia 9 de Agosto, através da Roadrunner Records (alinhamento abaixo). Hoje, a banda partilhou também o primeiro single do álbum, “Unsainted”, que já se encontra disponível em todas as plataformas digitais, juntamente com o respectivo videoclip no canal de YouTube oficial dos Slipknot. Dirigido pelo elemento da banda M. Shawn Crahan, o vídeo de “Unsainted”, e a própria faixa em si, oferece um vislumbre do futuro daquela que é uma das bandas de Rock mais populares e profundamente enigmáticas do mundo.

O guitarrista Jim Root comentou: “This is most time we’ve had to write a record, and work stuff out together. One of my inspirations this time around was those artists that recorded full length albums – not just songs. While the industry is moving toward singles, Slipknot wanted to make an album experience, front to back.”
No Verão, os Slipknot embarcarão numa digressão enquanto cabeças de cartaz, onde está incluído o regresso a Portugal, nomeadamente ao VOA Heavy Rock Festival, entre 4 a 5 de Julho, no Estádio do Restelo, em Lisboa.
